Backing Plates for Resin Fiber Grinding Discs

Premium black rubber & cast aluminum Turbo backing plates have a spiral, air-cooled surface in contact with the grinding disc. These made in the USA pad prolong the life of the grinding disc by dissipating the heat from friction. The 4 ^1/2" Diameter Turbo pads come in smooth bore (for shorter tool shanks) and 5/8 - 11" Threaded bored (for longer tool shanks) All other sizes have only 5/8 - 11" Threaded bores. We also sell the standard high impact, high heat resistant polymer backing plates at a lower price.
Retainer nuts are sold seperately at $3.50 each since plates wear out, but not the nut.
