Conversion Discs
Hook & Loop sanding products have now become as popular as (PSA) pressure sensitive adhesive products. They
are about 20% more expensive but compensate with ease of switching from one grit to another, and
the finer finish due to the slight cushioning effect of the Hook & Loop. Eventually the heat of
friction from sanding weakens the nylon hooks. Discs start detaching. Instead of buying an expensive new
pad, just glue on a new hook surface to your back-up pad.
